Police are searching for at least two suspects following a robbery Sunday evening. Officers were called to the area of Pikes Peak Avenue and University Drive around 5:45 p.m. on reports of an armed robbery.

Police arrested a robbery suspect who was allegedly wielding a machete in downtown Colorado Springs Sunday morning. According to Colorado Springs police, officers were called out at around 9:20 a.m. to the 500 block of South Nevada Avenue for a shoplifting incident that officials said became a robbery when a suspect threatened an employee with a knife.
