How do you know the NFL season is almost back? The start of HBO's Hard Knocks is the first tease of the start of a new season.

The “Hard Knocks” series returns Tuesday, August 5 with “Training Camp with the Buffalo Bills,” dropping 9 p.m. ET on HBO Max.

In a really nice twist, there is plenty of discussion on veteran cornerback Tre'Davious White, who returned to the Bills this offseason. He has long been a fan favorite in Buffalo for years, but in a slight spoiler, White is portrayed very well in Episode 1. It's hard not to like him, as expected.

The Buffalo Bills released oft-injured linebacker Baylon Spector, two days after the fourth-year player was sidelined by a calf injury.

The Bills have added a linebacker. Buffalo announced the club has signed Jimmy Ciarlo. Ciarlo entered the league last year as an undrafted free agent out of Army. He spent the season on injured reserve with the Jets after suffering an injury during the preseason.

At Monday’s training camp practice, Buffalo Bills linebacker left the field during team drills with a trainer and a slight limp. It was diagnosed as a calf injury and Spector, who had been dealing with calf injuries since at least the final weeks of the 2024 season,
