British’s multinational bank i.e. Barclays is among the leading global investment banks, and has reportedly laid off 15 Wall Street bankers just ahead of the Christmas season, according to sources familiar with the matter.

Barclays gave out pink slips to 15 bakers and traders, clouding the celebrations for some of its employees. In addition, the Post reported that the company had revoked their bonuses. 15 Wall Street professionals lost their expected windfall among the 50 companies that were laid off last month.

For the 15 Wall Street professionals affected, the termination erased potential bonuses that typically reach up to $1 million, according to industry sources.
