Carlos Correa is headed back to Houston. The Twins dealt the star shortstop to the Astros ahead of Thursday’s trade deadline, according to The Post’s Jon Heyman. Correa, who waived his no-trade clause, is expected to play third base with Isaac Paredes injured, Heyman reported.

The Houston Astros have acquired a left-handed batting outfielder amid a series of moves to strengthen the lineup before the clock strikes 5 p.m. Central on the MLB trade deadline. The Astros have acquired right fielder Jesús Sánchez from the Miami Marlins, according to Ken Rosenthal from The Athletic.
