The Professional Women's Hockey League selected Vancouver as its first expansion franchise, and while the league is targeting Seattle next, an agreement has not been finalized.

The team, which was unveiled as PWHL Vancouver at a news conference on Wednesday, will play at Pacific Coliseum.
