Brendan Fraser & Rachel Weisz Reunite For Mummy 4

Rumors of the fourth installment come eight years after Universal Pictures tried to revive the franchise with a movie by the same name in 2017, starring Tom Cruise, Sofia Boutella, Jake Annabelle Wallis and Russell Crowe. The movie was seen as a box office failure, only grossing $410 million worldwide, according to Forbes.
Brendan Fraser and Rachel Weisz are reportedly set to reunite for a follow up to The Mummy Returns. If Universal Pictures wants to make up for the 2017 reboot it may need a monster budget.
If the pair sign on, it'll reunite them more than 25 years after their last on-screen partnership. Frasier and Weisz starred as Rick O'Connell and Evelyn Carnahan in 1999 classic The Mummy and its 2001 sequel The Mummy Returns. However, while Frasier returned for 2008's The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor, Weisz wasn't part of its cast.
