SpaceX will launch Starship for a seventh test flight on Wednesday, an experiment that will feature the spacecraft’s first payload deployment test, marking what could be the latest milestone for the Elon Musk-owned aerospace company as it develops reusable rockets.

SpaceX has successfully completed the 100th launch of a Falcon rocket from pad 39A and sent two landers on their way to the Moon.

Firefly Aerospace's Blue Ghost lander and ispace's RESILIENCE lander and TENACIOUS micro rover launched Wednesday morning from NASA's Kennedy Space Center.

SpaceX launched a Falcon 9 rocket carrying a pair of lunar landers into space early Wednesday, sending Firefly Aerospace's Blue Ghost and ispace's Resilience on their lengthy journeys to the moon.

Two lunar landers built by private companies in the US and Japan have left Earth aboard a SpaceX rocket as part of a rideshare to the Moon. The Falcon 9 took off from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida at 01:09 local time (06:09 GMT) on Wednesday, carrying landers belonging to America's Firefly Aerospace and Japan's ispace.

Tonight, the rocket which is designed to be able to reach Mars will launch again, with a window starting at 10pm GMT. This will be its seventh test flight, and will be livestreamed from south Texas. At 122m tall, Starship is designed to help humans go interplanetary, colonising Mars. Nasa also intends to use it to take astronauts back to the Moon.

We've got not one but two Moon landings coming our way, hopefully. SpaceX is preparing to launch the landers by US-based Firefly Aerospace and private Japanese company ispace at 11:41 am IST on January 15. Both the landers will be flown on the same Falcon 9 rocket from NASA 's Kennedy Space Center in Florida.

The rocket carried two lunar landers into orbit, each headed on separate missions. It will take the machines a few months to reach the lunar surface.
