Running back James Cook got the Buffalo Bills on the board with a 46-yard rushing touchdown in the second quarter to cut the New England Patriots' lead to 14-7 in Sunday's AFC East matchup. The touchdown drive came after a sluggish start for the Bills.

With the Bills’ attention and concern focused on the sideline, where trainers were examining quarterback Josh Allen’s throwing arm, cornerback Taron Johnson provided the necessary offense to lift Buffalo to 24-21 win over the New England Patriots on Sunday.

The Bills were surprisingly trailing the Patriots in their Week 16 matchup. Coming in as a two-touchdown favorite, the Bills were down 14-0 in the first half. And then running back James Cook woke up the Bills. Cook scored a rushing touchdown from nearly midfield against the Patriots as he put on the afterburners and no one could catch him.
