Bill Belichick will make his college football coaching debut on Monday, September 1 when the North Carolina Tar Heels take on the TCU Horned Frogs. Kickoff for the game is set for 7:30 p.m. ET.

North Carolina football coach Bill Belichick and school officials have signed his official employment contract.

Belichick’s base salary is $1 million annually, paid monthly. On top of that, he’ll rake in a supplemental income of $9 million each year for promotional and media duties. These include appearances at events sponsored by UNC’s advertisers and donors, press conferences, and other special engagements.
