Jonsson's character, Prince T'Challa II, was first introduced as a child in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. He is the son of T'Challa and Nakia (Lupita Nyong'o). Jonsson will be joined by returning cast members Letitia Wright, who plays Shuri, and Winston Duke, who reprises his role as M'Baku.
