Cloudflare confirmed the issue is affecting its global network, which is causing outages on X, ChatGPT, Canva, and, ironically, Downdetector.

X, the social media app formerly known as Twitter, has been down for thousands of users in the U.S. on Tuesday, according to Downdetector.com. There were more than 11,500 reports of issues with the social media platform, according to Downdetector, which tracks outages by collating status reports from a number of sources.
A lot of popular apps like ChatGPT, Perplexity, X (formerly Twitter) are curently facing outages due to a technical issue on Cloudflare.
Cloudflare said on Tuesday morning that it was "all hands on deck" trying to work out the cause of the outage.
Infrastructure company Cloudflare has been hit with what it calls "widespread 500 errors, [with] Dashboard and API also failing."
Impacted websites included X, formerly Twitter, Axios, Indeed, Canva and Downdetector, a website that tracks web outages.
