Tigst Assefa of Ethiopia secured her first London Marathon title after pulling away from Joyciline Jepkosgei on the way to a women's-only world record in two hours 15 minutes 50 seconds on Sunday. Kenya's Sebastian Sawe cruised to victory in the men's race.
