AURORA, Ill. (WLS) -- Illinois Senator Dick Durbin will join the Texas Democrats who are in Illinois Wednesday. This comes as the political showdown over redistricting in Texas continues and its nationwide implications if Republicans try to pick up five seats in the US House of Representatives.

For the second straight morning, Texas Democratic lawmakers woke up in Illinois. They are hiding out in Democratic states to block a vote on new congressional maps.
