MINNEAPOLIS — Snow is piling up across Minnesota as the biggest storm of the winter season so far drags across the state. A winter storm warning is in effect for a swath of the state stretching from the North Dakota border near Fargo down to Rochester in southern Minnesota. That includes the Twin Cities.

Residents awoke to snow in at least 18 New Jersey counties Saturday morning after an overnight storm that dropped more than 5 inches in multiple towns. Sparta in Sussex County reported the highest snowfall total as of 8 a.

Weather Advisory will remain in effect through 10 p.m. Saturday for Ashtabula, Columbiana, Geauga, Lake, Mahoning and Trumbull counties.
