The cast of Sing Sing will perform an off-Broadway rendition of the play Breaking the Mummy’s Code, a time-traveling musical comedy originally staged at Sing Sing correctional facility in 2005 and reenacted in the A24 film.

What started as a goofy, groundbreaking play that debuted inside the Sing Sing Correctional Facility — and then inspired the Golden Globe-nominated movie “Sing Sing” — will return to the stage, as the formerly incarcerated actors of the A24 film will reunite to perform “Breakin’ the Mummy’s Code” live in New York.

On February 3, the cast of Sing Sing is set to reunite for a live performance of Breakin' the Mummy's Code, the musical originally written for and performed by people incarcerated at New York's Sing Sing Correctional Institute.
