Germany winger Leroy Sane has signed for Turkish club Galatasaray on a free transfer from Bayern Munich. The 29-year-old has signed a three-year deal with the Turkish champions, with the club announcing he will earn a guaranteed £7.66m a year plus a loyalty bonus.
Leroy Sane says he received ‘many offers’ to leave Bayern Munich, but decided to join Galatasaray due to ‘the size of the club’ and ‘how much interest they showed’ this summer.
