Two men are facing trespassing charges after kicking off Christmas Eve with an early-morning jump from a crane in downtown Raleigh, police said Tuesday. Jason McClure, 51, of Raleigh and Jorge Chacon, 37, of Durham are each charged with first-degree trespassing and resisting a public officer, court records show.

Around 2:00 a.m., Raleigh Police Department responded to the new City Hall construction site in the 200 block of West Hargett Street for a report of someone trespassing on the crane.
