The San Francisco 49ers picked up a huge win in the NFC wild-card race on Monday night over the Carolina Panthers.

The Panthers have been a resurgent force this year and may finally be ready to return to the playoffs for the first time since the 2017 season. The Panthers have won five of their last seven games and look to have finally found a franchise quarterback in Bryce Young.

Carolina is coming off an unusual offensive game wherein it did not run the ball particularly well but absolutely exploded in the passing game. The Panthers ran for just 67 yards last week against the Falcons, but Bryce Young went an incredible 31 of 45 for 448 yards and three touchdowns.
