AUSTIN, Texas — Police have identified the man they say shot and killed three people in a North Austin Target parking lot, assaulted multiple others and destroyed multiple vehicles in the span of less than an hour on Monday.

Austin Police Chief Lisa Davis said the shooting suspect stole a car and fled. He wrecked that car and stole another before being captured, she said.
