Two senior U.S. officials said that when Biden gave Kyiv permission to launch ATACMS into Russian territory, Ukraine likely had only about 50 of the missiles left in its arsenal.

The New York Times, citing American officials, has reported that Ukraine is reducing its use of long-range ATACMS missiles, primarily due to dwindling stockpiles. Kyiv reportedly has fewer than 50 of the missiles provided by the US.

Ukraine’s stockpiles of US-supplied long-range Atacms missiles are running low, according to senior US officials. Outgoing US president Joe Biden gave Kyiv permission to launch the Atacms – which have a range of up to 300 kilometres – into Russian territory a month ago.

Klitschko reported that multiple cars were on fire in the Holosiivskyi district of the city due to the falling debris from a missile. At least two people were injured as a result of the attack.
