Emergency workers have pulled more bodies from the rubble of a nine-story Kyiv apartment building demolished by a Russian missile.

Fred Grandy was upset by the United States’ reversal in its support for Ukraine, his family said. This week, he was among the 28 people killed in a drone and missile assault.

Mayor Vitali Klitschko said on Wednesday the death toll had reached 28, but that a search operation was continuing. Two people were also killed in a separate strike on the southern port city of Odesa.
