The college football analyst joined “The Pat McAfee Show,” and was asked about the moment. Herbstreit revealed it was a tough personal year for his family.

Herbstreit — a Centerville, Ohio, native — graduated from Ohio State after playing with the Buckeyes from 1989 to 1992.
