Protesters are chanting and marching outside the FBI on Saturday after agents arrested a Milwaukee judge accused of helping a man evade immigration authorities.

"Just NOW, the FBI arrested Judge Hannah Dugan out of Milwaukee, Wisconsin on charges of obstruction — after evidence of Judge Dugan obstructing an immigration arrest operation last week," Patel, who was appointed by President Donald Trump, wrote in a now-deleted post on X, formerly Twitter.

Milwaukee County Circuit Court Judge Hannah Dugan was elected in 2016. She spent much of her earlier career working on behalf of low-income people and marginalized groups.
