In a tense meeting, Eyal Zamir warned the prime minister that taking the rest of Gaza could trap the military and lead to harm for the remaining hostages.

Airdropped aid continued to fall in Gaza Tuesday with desperate Palestinians struggling to collect what they could as food packages often land in far areas or in the so-called red zones controlled by the Israeli military.
