DL Hall was placed on the 60-day injured list with a left lat strain to open a roster spot for fellow left-hander Jose Quintana, whose one-year, $4.25 million contract was finalized by the Milwaukee Brewers.

The Milwaukee Brewers addressed a fluid situation among their left-handed pitchers by signing veteran Jose Quintana on Wednesday to a one-year deal with a mutual option for 2026.

The Brewers announced that left-hander DL Hall has been placed on the 60-day injured list. Adam McCalvy of MLB.com was among those to relay the news. That means Hall has been officially ruled out until late May at the earliest.
