America’s Got Talent will be returning to NBC for its milestone season 20, but many fans were shocked to find that one of their favorite judges would not be part of the season. Is Heidi Klum coming back as a judge?

Mark your calendars…NBC will premiere the landmark 20th season of veteran competition series America’s Got Talent on Tuesday, May 27 at 8 p.m. ET. The summer juggernaut, which opened on June 21, 2006, will feature the return of songwriter Mel B opposite judges Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel and Sofia Vergara. Terry Crews returns as host.

Heidi Klum is departing the show, with former judge Mel B returning to take Klum’s place alongside fellow judges Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel and Sofia Vergara and host Terry Crews. Mel B previously was a judge on the NBC series from 2013-18 and on spinoff AGT: Fantasy League in 2024.
