Ty Haywood is reportedly not coming to Alabama after not joining the Crimson Tide during the early signing period.

Alabama football lost a member of its 2025 recruiting class Monday. More than a month after the Crimson Tide signed 21 players, the majority of which enrolled with the program early, five-star offensive tackle Ty Haywood told On3 he was ending his previous commitment to Alabama.

But linebacker Darrell Johnson, a 6-foot-1, 200-pound four-star out of Eastman, Georgia, said he's talked with Crimson Tide defensive back coaches before his arrival.
