Organizers with Houston's chapter of the 50501 Movement, a national political organization opposed to Trump, said they are calling for a peaceful protest, which is set to begin at 10 a.m. at City Hall. The demonstration is expected to attract several thousand people, said Kristi Pham, of 50501 Houston.
The organizers of the national "No Kings" protests estimate that millions of Americans demonstrated on June 14. The protests aimed to call out some of the Trump administration's policies.
