We did this in mid-December. Lots of muddy and slippery parts, including big puddles. This is a hard trail, not really moderate IMO and the trail distance on All Trails didn’t feel entirely accurate.… Full review by Yeshwant C

You definitely should NOT go by yourself! There are Hiking Clubs that you can link up with. It will be much safer to go with a Group. We have been going every year for the last 40 …
